O GuiaTv coolthingsPT é uma aplicação que lhe permite melhorar a sua experiência com a TV.

SmsbusSip Widget

SmsbusSip é um widget que permite visualizar de uma forma agradável o tempo de espera pelo seu autocarro.
O widget permite o envio de mensagens sms para o sistema SmsBus da STCP e Sip da Carris, receber a resposta e visualizar os tempos de espera pelos autocarros de uma forma intuitiva. O Widget vai automaticammente decrementando o tempo de espera pelos autocarros à medida que o tempo passa. Quando estiver para passar um autocarro na paragem, o widget gera uma notificação.

Last thursday, there were a great event at Lisbon where Adewale Oshineye made a presentation about buzz.
After the presentation took place a hackaton where participants need to do something with the buzz API.

Me and my friend Manuel did the Cloudzz

It's a simple buzz cloud that we made in only 2 hours with some javascript and the REST buzz API.

The organization was simply great!

Last Thursday( 22 July , 2010) I did my last presentation as MIEIC Student. Now it's the beginning of a new stage. Remains in my memory the nights without sleep in the last 6 months.

MoLand is a system that uses the mobile device and the web browser to allow the creation of location-based services by everyone in an easy and intuitive way.
With MoLand, the users are also able to consume these services using an augmented reality application with a highly intuitive and flexible interface.

Last Saturday(27/02/2010) Fernando , Carlos and I organized an android training session @ Neoscopio.

I was experiencing the Light Sensor on my new Nexus and I realised that all the values returned are always the same:

- The minimum value (10.0 Lx) happens when I put the mobile inside my pocket.
- The maximum value (10240.0 Lx) happens when I put the mobile near a window in a sunny day.

Big question: Use this values to do what?

The Proximity Sensor disappointed me. Because there are only two possible values that it returns.

The last saturday I went to madrid with more three friends to assist the android developer labs talk provided by google and their employees Reto Meyer and Bill.

The session was cool, but unfortunately there weren't time for the second session where supposedly we will do some code.

The cool moment was when they surprised everyone and offered free Nexus One to all attendees.

Almost everyone present ( just about 100 people), spoke Spanish and only 7 of them were Portuguese (3 from Lisbon and 4 from Porto).

The first meeting of androidpt community was a lunch at Bairrada where we delight a good piglet.

The event was very cool. Every people has a device running android(only my brother and hcarrega didn't) and was the first meeting in Portugal where the number of devices running android /sq.

I met cool people and I want to get together again one day.
